Every year I say “what a terrible year, hope the next year is better than this one!”, and I know I’m not the only one to say so.
So instead, this year, I’m going to focus on everything amazing that has happened over the last 12 months and look forward to adding to the memories.
I don’t really remember much of January, February or March. I was heavily pregnant for most of it! April will stay with me for the rest of my life April was the month that my son was born. After 9 long months and 3 days in labour he was born 5 days late and he was, and still is, beautiful. He is the happiest little boy on the planet and I feel very blessed to have him in my life.
Since April I have mainly focused on being a mum – it’s quite a change! But I did also start my blog. I needed something to focus on that wasn’t talking baby talk! It also meant I could start focusing on myself again. After having my little boy, I put on any weight I had lost and felt awful for it. So I started the blog to help me get back to actually wanting to take care of myself and my appearance, trying new products along my journey. And also to try and give me something to kick me into gear to lose a bit of weight too.
I haven’t done particularly well but my New Years resolutions include losing weight and improving on self maintenance & health.
I hope you all had an amazing 2015, it really is worth taking some time to look back over the good things that happened, even if there’s only one or two. What are your New Years resolutions?
